# Adding a link breaks the plugin

 * Plugin works fine, until I include a link in the placemark description. Error:
   bgmpData undefined.
 * Strangely enough, it does recognise other html (the _-tag), but not the _

 * Solved it. APparently you have to manually add ‘\’ to the link, so it looks like
   this:
    [One80 Hostel Website<\/a> No idea why that works, I am not an extremely
   experienced coder, but it does work 🙂

 * The forums stripped out or modified the HTML in both of your posts, can you please
   put it in Pastebin or Gist so that it’s preserved?

 * I wasn’t able to reproduce that; can you temporarily switch to one of the default
   themes and disable all your plugins, and see if it breaks then?
 * If it doesn’t, then you can turn your plugins back on one by one to figure out
   which one is causing the conflict.

 * Thanks for the help. WP External Links was the culprit (version 1.55), so I deactivated
   it
