# Adding a map to a post

 * Hey I’m having a problem posting a map with onto my site using a code provided
   by google maps, however when I post the code to my text section on the post it
   shows up as a blank space. If you can help out…please lend a hand

 * Are you sure you’re in text view and not Visual View. If you put it in on the
   Visual Side it will do that.

 * well in the visual view it shows it trying to display but it won’t and when I
   try and preview the page I get the blank space

 * oh you know what it works! thanks I’m sorry for any inconvenience it may have
   caused I just had to reload the page.
