# Adding a menu?

 * I was given this link (which you’d think would be enough for me to get it but
   i’m a little slow with all of this) – [http://codex.wordpress.org/Appearance_Menus_Screen](http://codex.wordpress.org/Appearance_Menus_Screen)–
   on how to add a menu but am still confused. Can someone explain to me how to 
   make a menu on the hatch theme?

 * Hatch uses the same menu system – the linked page is as good as it gets for instructions.
   You could try searching for a YouTube video on WordPress Menus – there are lots
   of good resources online on how to use WordPress.

 * In the top of the menu page it says “Your theme supports 1 menu. Select which
   menu you would like to use.” Does that mean that I can only have one page?

 * No, a “menu” is not the same as “menu item.” One menu means the whole menu – 
   with as many items in it as you want. For most themes the one menu goes in the
   usual place across the top of the page someplace.
