# adding a sql to my wordpress database

 * Hi,
    I am very new to javascript and ajax. I have a project where I want to create
   a like button (not social media) multiple times on a page. I think I found some
   code but it requires me to add a sql file to my database.
 * The file basically created a table for the likes.
 * Is there anything I should be concerned about adding this file to create a table
   in my wordpress database?
 * Do I need to create a new database?
 * Can I import the file through the wordpress import or do I need cpanel and mysql
   access?
 * Thank you for any help anyone can provide.

 * it`s no need for a new data base …. you can create any table editing function.

 * Use a ftp client or cpanel.. is better … you will need cpanel (phpmyadmin) for
   acces and debug your db.
