# [closed] Adding Author Box

 * as mentionned on your web site ([http://tiguandesign.com/docs/simple-author-box/](http://tiguandesign.com/docs/simple-author-box/))
   I wanted to add php code on to display on author page ([http://www.mywebsite.com/index.php/autho/authorname](http://www.mywebsite.com/index.php/autho/authorname)).
   It works fine for this but now in category pages I have also the author box (
   seems to take in account the first post in the category). Is there a way in php(
   I’m not developer) to restrict only to author page?

 * Just changed archive.php to author.php and it did it!.
