 * It just shows the word ‘by’ but no author. Can someone help:
 * this is what I have now:
 * echo ‘<span class=”postdate serif”>’.date(“F j, Y”,strtotime($row[‘post_date’])).’
   by ‘; the_author_posts_link(); echo ‘</span>’;
