# Adding continuous posts on the same page

 * I’m new to WordPress, but have been using templates for years. When I add a new
   post, where does it appear? I have an online magazine and want several posts 
   on the home page, not just one. Then I want to assign where posts go.
 * The template I am using is Twenty Fourteen and was selected from the popular 
   items (free).

 * Hey there,
 * With the Twenty Fourteen theme you have the option of using a static page (which
   your doing) or loading your latest posts. This can be configured in the Settings
   > Reading admin page.
 * If you want to keep your current setup but load some of your blog posts onto 
   the homepage check out the [Display Posts Shortcode](https://wordpress.org/plugins/display-posts-shortcode/)
   plugin.
 * If this is of no help perhaps you could provide details of your exact requirements
   and i’ll be happy to help as there a number of different ways things can be achieved
   in WordPress.
