# Adding Custom Field

 * Greets:
    I am slowly learning how to use the Newsletter plugin. I have set up
   the plugin, successfully have an email sent to me via the great setup wizard,
   and managed to send a test newsletter to myself to make sure I was ale to do 
   so.
 * I was looking at the fields of a subscriber, me in this case, and I did see first
   and last name and so on, I’m wondering if it’s possible to add a “company” field.
   I was looking at the blank fields on another tab, but could not get my head wrapped
   around whether it’s possible.
 * Also, I’ve yet to learn how to use the Composer to craft a custom template, so
   will watch the videos later on. But I take it that working through it isn’t possible
   with dark mode? I did see a sidebar to the left of the screen in the Composer,
   but it was blacked out mostly so could not see the choices.
