 * Good Evening,
 * Hopefully someone can help this coding dumb head (me)
 * So I am working on a page and want to pull in a custom field. I am going to try
   to provide everything I can think of here..
 * Theme is Sydney Pro
    Editor is Site Origin
 * I am trying to make some information easily modified for a wp admin to update..
 * I have this custom field -> [http://prntscr.com/jczkx8](http://prntscr.com/jczkx8)
   
   I want to add this to a page (Not a post)so I did this -> [http://prntscr.com/jczlwj](http://prntscr.com/jczlwj)
 * I got this on my page -> [http://prntscr.com/jczm74](http://prntscr.com/jczm74)
 * no surprise it didn’t work – couldn’t have been this easy.
 * I want the person charged with keeping up this information an easy way to add
   the date (they updated the totals) to the page. Clear as mud right??.

 * The code tags are for formatting text on your page to look like code you would
   enter. That is why you got it displayed on your page.
 * You need to edit your child theme and enter that code in your theme template 
   page.
