# Pcustom page templates not showing in Page Template dropdown

 * Hey.
 * I am trying to add custom page templates to the theme but for some reason it 
   does not come up in the drop down.
 * Even if I duplicate the page.php and rename it, it still doesn’t come up in the
   drop down
 * Any Ideas?

 * Heard this a few time before and it was resolved by changing to the WordPress
   Default Theme, then changing back to your theme.

 * Just wanted to say I had the same problem…I went to appearance, and found that
   nothing was loaded into the default (even though it was using my custom theme).
   I simply re-activated my theme, and the option showed up again.
