 * I’ve got the same customizer code running as a plugin and as a theme (child theme
of Twenty Sixteen), and they create different results.
 * The code in the theme works great. The section shows, everything saves, it’s
   all good.
 * The code in the plugin adds the section, control, etc, but then it’s “hidden”
from the list by the customizers JavaScript, so it can’t be used.
 * Does anyone know if or why there’s a difference adding customizer controls through
   a theme or a plugin?
