# Adding Date to Below Post Title

 * Hello,
    I’m having some trouble adding the date to below my post titles. My site
   is demo.thepaisleybox.com
 * I’ve tried to use the code that I found here in the forum including `<span class
   ="postDate"><?php the_time('F j, Y'); ?> in <?php the_category(', ') ?></span
   >`
    with no luck.
 * Can someone help with the code and placement in order to do this?

 * I tried to put the code into my stylesheet. It’s a custom theme.
    There was not
   visible change that I could see when I put that code in.
 * I pasted the code in several places… pretty much anywhere I found ‘entry-title.’

 * Got it. That worked, thank you:)
 * Can you also help me out with the code to change the size and color (of the post
   date)? I want it to be black and 14px.
