# Adding HTML inside option select

* Hi, I’m not sure if this is a bug, but whenever I add html inside select option
field, it gets automatically removed, even though the modern select field is
selected. HTML properly renders html inside select option, so this shouldn’t
be a problem.

* This was a known bug, but it was fixed on WPForms version **1.8.2.2**, so we
need to start updating WPForms to the latest version. In case it helps, WPBeginner
