# Adding image by URL

 * Hello!
 * My problem is caused by WP e-commerce and I need help for a work around.
 * I’m having problems with the media library loading very slow when I try to add
   a featured image or product images to product image gallery. It works fine for
   regular pages and posts. But for product pages it takes forever to load.
 * So what I want to do is add the image by URL instead of searching for it because
   it is faster. This is already possible when you add an image to the content. 
   But the option “insert by URL” is not available for featured images and product
   gallery images (gold cart plugin). Is there any way to add this option? Why is
   the dialog box different for featured images?
