# Adding JavaScript widget to single page

 * Stuck on a JS issue. I’ve never tried to embed js in a page.
 *  I have a friend who uses BandsInTown and they offer a javascript widget. Even
   if I wrap it in the [code] tag - I get *only* the HTML . I'm placing into the
   page using the text editor.
 *  Suggestions?
 * if it helps - the widget code is :
 * `<script type='text/javascript' src='http://widget.bandsintown.com/javascripts/
   bit_widget.js'></script><a href="http://www.bandsintown.com/rachelb">rachelb 
   Tour Dates</a>`

 * Ok, I tired that script out on my test site, and it is “working” as far as WordPress
   is concerned. It looks like the script itself is failing to execute.
 * I recommend contacting BandsInTown about this.

 * Is there such a thing as a ‘wrapper’? In Joomla they have a wrapper that allows
   you to basically embed a page.
 * Their plugin doesn’t work, and if the script isn’t working – I want to see if
   I can just embed the listing somehow without their script?
 * Like an iframe of the page maybe? Not sure if that’s the right idea?

 * Yeah, you could try an iframe, but really it would probably be best to just tell
   them that their script isn’t working.
