# Adding link to additional fields

 * Wonderful plugin and extensive documentation. I have added date from my events
   following the instructions [https://displayposts.com/2019/06/23/display-meta-value-in-output/](https://displayposts.com/2019/06/23/display-meta-value-in-output/)
   and I also added some extra text following [https://displayposts.com/2019/10/09/add-extra-text-after-title/](https://displayposts.com/2019/10/09/add-extra-text-after-title/).
   Now my question is how do I make this text link to the post?
 * I see a document on how to remove links but no add them – and I can’t figure 
   out how to ‘reverse engineer’ that method to add a link.
 * I have the title hidden and currently only the image has a link (which I have
   placed behind the text) so it is making it difficult to link to the post.
 * I hope someone has some ideas!
