# Adding manual code to sidebar with widgets

 * Hi,
 * I’m relatively new to WordPress and coding pages. I have set up my site and I
   am using some widgets I have installed and placed in the sidebar. The theme I
   am currently using places the login/register link at the very bottom of the page,
   and I think people are not seeing it. I was hoping to cut and paste the code 
   from the theme (for the login part) into the sidebar so it is more visible, but
   I am not sure how to do this. I am also wondering if manual changes can be done
   since I am already using widgets in the sidebar.
 * Any help or ppointers would be greatly appreciated.

 * Use a TEXT widget and put the code in there. You can use regular XHTML in a text
   widget, and that way it will fall in line with the rest of your sidebar.

 * Well, yes and no. It did definitely help and was the answer to my question…but
   the code I pasted in just didn’t work quite the way I wanted it to. I’ll have
   to post that as a separate question.
 * It’s one piece of the puzzle though, so I’m a step closer, thanks!
