 * Hi there,
   is it possible to add multiple devices using Google Authenticator for
   one WP admin user? We have multiple devices for one user and don’t want to add
   a new admin user for each device.Is that somehow possible. Basically we want
   to be able to login using Google Authenticator from multiple devices for the
   same WP user. Thanks,Tino

 * Hey [@tinodesigns](https://wordpress.org/support/users/tinodesigns/)
 * Great question! The Two Factor plugin uses a single TOTP (Time-based One-Time
   Password) secret key per user for the Google Authenticator method. The good news
   is that this actually works in your favour — because all TOTP apps generate codes
   based on the same shared secret, you can enrol multiple devices simply by scanning
   the same QR code (or entering the same setup key) on each device during the initial
   setup.
 * So the workflow would be:
    1. Go to your user profile and set up the “Authenticator App” method.
    2. When the QR code is displayed, scan it with all the devices you want to use
       OR copy the “Authentication Code” manually to your app
    3. enter the TOTP code and click on Verify.
 * If you’ve already completed setup on one device and didn’t scan it on the others,
   you’d need to regenerate the secret (which will invalidate the old one) and scan
   the new QR code on all devices at the same time.
 * Hope that helps!
