# Adding new sidebar content — HELP

 * I need to pick the brains on the experts on here for what I am sure is an easy
   fix that I am egregiously overlooking.
 * I want to add new content to the sidebar outside of what can be done through 
   the dashboard. For example, I want to add a section listing author names linked
   to their posts. I want to add another section that lists column names.
 * However…I am having the weirdest and hardest time trying to figure that out.
 * Help….please.

 * I’m confused with what your asking for exactly. You can do pretty much anything
   you want with the sidebar by using WordPress Widgets. If one sidebar column is
   not enough, you could always add another sidebar function.

 * You probably want to look at the files in your theme directory. The sidebar is
   sidebar.php. You can add stuff to that quite easily.
