# Adding New Theme

 * Hi All,
 * Recently i have been having issues with adding new themes via Appearance -> Themes-
   > Add New.
 * i get the following error:
    An unexpected error occurred. Something may be wrong
   with WordPress.org or this server’s configuration. If you continue to have problems,
   please try the support forums.
 * I tried disabling all plugins to still having the same fault. I have also restored
   to a previous backup to when it was actually working.
 * Let me know what suggestions you have.

 * There are no problems here, so I can only guess that the issue must be at your
   server. Try contacting your hosts about this. They may be experiencing DNS issues.

 * What is the best way to fix this?
    It only seems to be the themes, plugins work
   no worries?

 * try to upload your theme through ftp to wp-content/themes folder

 * So i just created a new installation on the same server and i dont get the error?
   what could the issue possibly be. I would rather do it from within wordpress 
   that way i can do a live preview?
