 * The sequential numbering works fine for orders completed using WooCommerce with
   a card etc. However, when we try to ADD NEW ORDER manually, the numbering is
   completely different, much high (a few more hundred).
 * What can we do about this? We want manual orders to use the next order in the
   sequence
 * The page I need help with: _[[log in](https://login.wordpress.org/?redirect_to=https%3A%2F%2Fwordpress.org%2Fsupport%2Ftopic%2Fadding-orders-manually-3%2F%3Foutput_format%3Dmd&locale=en_US)

 * Hi [@businessthink](https://wordpress.org/support/users/businessthink/),
 * We can help with that. This could be a slight misunderstanding.
 * When you click Add New Order and the new post page comes up, it will have the
   post ID in place of the order number. However, once you click the Create Order
   button, the order number in the sequence will be updated.
 * Kindly check it out.

 * Thanks for coming back to me so quickly. I needed to add a bit more detail to
   my post I think, apologies. See question below.
 * When (and only when) I enter an order manually when a customer orders by phone,
   as opposed to a customer placing an order via the website the following happens:
 * The sequential order number is not shown on the order confirmation email sent
   to me by WooCommerce, which shows the post ID. However, the sequential order
   number is correctly allocated when viewing the list of orders.
 * When using the facility to resend order information, the sequential order number
   appears correctly in the email.
 * There is a further effect in that the shipping address, as entered on the order
   and displayed in the web interface, is not entered in either email. Perhaps that
   is not connected to the Sequential Order Numbers plugin?

 * Hi [@businessthink](https://wordpress.org/support/users/businessthink/),
 * The shipping address mismatch is not at all connected to our plugin.
 * We have tested the order email for manually created orders as well and the order
   numbers come in accordingly to sequence in the emails as well.
