# Adding PDF File to Post

 * This simple task is driving me nuts. I’m looking for a plugin that will let my
   users easily upload and link pdf, doc, etc files within wordpress. I’ve enabled
   Upload Files and added pdf to the formats allowed, but it’s not letting me upload
   pdf files.

 * Is the file size limit set appropriately in WP Admin? Are the pdfs you are attempting
   to upload too large for the default setting?

 * make sure you have write permission to the directory listed in [http://www.yoursite.com/wp-admin/options-misc.php](http://www.yoursite.com/wp-admin/options-misc.php)
 * I just tested it and it does work.

 * which .php? sets the pdf default file size limit. my smaller pdfs upload to page
   ok, but large ones crash.
