# Adding Permanent Image

    I would like to add a permanent image to the sidebar can someone explain 
   to me how this can be done and implemented.

 * In the Sidebar Template. If I had to guess, I would say that it should go above
   the call for the search function.

 * Thanks again, I tried adding it above archives and it only picked up the ALT 
   tag when I refreshed there was a quick glimpse of the outline of the image and
   that was it. The image automatically saved into the default images folder and
   I uploaded it but still no luck.
    I’ll keep playing with it see if I can get 
   it to call it up.

 * Hi macmanx, I sorted the problem and instead installed Waulok’s image rotator
   from here:

   which does the trick well.
