# Adding polls to posts

 * Hi there – Will it be possible in a future version of the plugin to add polls
   to posts within topics or will it be restricted to topics only?

 * Hi,
 * I don’t see that happening, because of two major problems:
 * 1. The topic is starting a conversation, and poll is added as a helping tool 
   for this conversation. With replies, users are talking about the topic and the
   poll, so I don’t see what kind of meaningful talk can be done within one topic
   if each reply has own poll.
 * 2. If the replies can be made to have polls, how would you display that in a 
   meaningful way? Where will the polls be displayed? Replies have limited space
   to work with, and there is no way to make it look good.
 * For now, I don’t plan to make changes for adding polls in any other way.

 * That’s reasonable. The idea behind polls on specific posts (especially sticky
   posts) would be useful to guage opinions on said post.
 * If that is not feasible, that is totally fine. General topic polls can work also.
