 * Love the theme – especially the simplicity.
 * But… one thing I’d like is a simple search magnifying glass option somewhere –
   either in the header or the menu. I’ve played around with the Ivory Search plugin.
   I get the Search box there, but it looks like there is something in the theme
   which is stopping me changing it to the magnify glass icon in Ivory Search. Any
   pointers please as to how to override this?
 * Many thanks.

 * Hi [@tsj](https://wordpress.org/support/users/tsj/),
 * The theme has the bare-minimum code to function so I’m fairly there is nothing
   to stop the magnify glass working.

 * Ok – many thank Danny. I’ll dive in and see what I can do. Thanks for the reply.

 * I use the Ivory Search plugin with this theme and it works fine for me with the
   Menu Search ticked in the settings.

 * Many thanks for the reply. I can get Ivory Search working with the theme, but
   the formatting is a little strange.
 * When I have dropdown selected within the plugin then I get an ugly box below
   my beautiful Arke menu.

 * If I choose pop up then the menu looks fine. But when you click on the search,
   it jumps you right down to the bottom of the page with the search box.

 * Any suggestions most welcome.

 * As an update: I’ve got it to function how I want. I simply added the Ivory shortcode
   into a search page, and then added the page to the menu.

 * Thanks for the suggestions.
