# Adding Shortcode To Top Header Bar

 * I was very happy to find the following post about putting shortcode in the top

 * Is there a way to move it to the left side of the My Account / Currency area?

 * To get the result as you desired, please create a child theme as instructed in
   the post [https://wordpress.org/support/topic/shortcode-in-top-bar-doesnt-work/](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/shortcode-in-top-bar-doesnt-work/)
   and add the shortcode code `echo do_shortcode( '[language-switcher]' );` before
   a line that says
 *     ```
       ?>
       </div> <!-- top-header-menu-wrapper end -->
       ```
