# Adding slider plugin shortcode – feature request

 * It would be great if we add wordpress slider shortcode directly under Slides 
   > Format > Shortcode rather than via Post. This would allow user to add animation
   effects to the the display.

 * Hi [@goodweb](https://wordpress.org/support/users/goodweb/), I agree! Unfortunately
   many shortcodes don’t work well or at all when used in the context of a Foyer
   slideshow. Even when you add the shortcode to a post and then include it as Post
   slide. Most shortcodes are simply coded to work on one static web page only. 
   I would love to make sure all shortcodes out there will work within Foyer slides,
   but I’m not sure I can solve this on the Foyer side of things. Anyway, it’s on
   my list!
 * About slider shortcodes specifically: Which slider are you using? Does it need
   to be displayed within a page, or would it also be useful if it were just a fullscreen
   slider being displayed until it reaches the end, then continuing with the rest
   of the Foyer slideshow slides?
