# Adding Theme Support

 * I tried following the instructions to add theme support to the theme I’m using,
   but it doesn’t seem to be working. Are there any better instructions than what’s

   or can they be explained better?

 * That’s the most detailed write-up for making custom templates; what issues are
   you running in to?
 * I noticed that your theme has a strange wrapping <header> element around the 
   whole page, not sure if that’s part of your problem.

 * Well first of all, the template that is loading is the default from the plugin,
   not what I placed into the theme folder (I added a “TESTING” piece of text to
   display to make sure what is displaying).
 * I assume that Step 1 is adding the functions into the functions.php of the theme.

 * …Now it’s loading my custom one. Thanks for the response, I’m not sure what fixed
   it, but its fixed 🙂
