 * I’ve started installing WordPress using myPHPAdmin. We only have one database,
   so I know I need to add wordpress within the existing database.
 * Do I add as a table? If so, it requires me to specify how many fields. Does anyone
   know how many fields or what to call the table, or even if there’s another way
   to add WordPress to the database?
 * Thanks in advance.

 * Name the WordPress tables as wp_ . Yes, it’s possible to install WordPress to
   existing database.

 * Thanks for your reply, but what wordpress tables?
 * There’s so many files, I’m not sure which ones I need to add to the database.

 * Just put your existing database information (name, user, password, host) in the
   wp-config.php and the WordPress install.php will create the necessary tables.

 * Thanks, MichaelH
 * I have done this and all seems to be working.
 * Can’t see any tables in the database though. Assume this is normal and if the
   blog works, all is set up ok.

 * You should be able to see the tables.
 * Make sure you are looking in the right place.
