# Adding user groups

 * I am using WordPress for a mixture of purposes and need to be able to categorise
   users. I have searched the plug ins but don’t seem to be able to find what I 
   need. It could be that I’m being blind and missing the plugin I need. What I’m
   looking for is something that gives me additional grouping for example a location
   group so I could list
 * All subscribers from Scotland
    or All contributors from Scotland or All users
   from Scotland
 * Can anyone point me in the right direction?

 * You might look at using plugin such as [http://www.cimatti.it/blog/cimy-wordpress-plugins/cimy-user-extra-fields/](http://www.cimatti.it/blog/cimy-wordpress-plugins/cimy-user-extra-fields/)
   to record what country a user is from.
 * Of course then listing those users will mean accessing the usermeta table to 
   get those users. Can’t find any exact code but look at:
