# Adding widgets inline – within content area?

    How do i go about adding widgets into the content section of a blog rather
   than the sidebar? Is there a plugin for this? If not, how do you go about it?
 * Any help appreciated.

 * One plugin that might help if you are talking about something that can be handled
   with template tags:

 * Thanks for your response. The short codes seem to be blog specific info (I’m 
   looking for ways to add, for example, my quote of the day or email sign up or
   flickr widget within a page rather than just the sidebar). Everyone & their dog
   has the same format – everything listed down the side.
 * The plugin looks scary & seems to rely on you knowing php code – which i don’t…

 * Then configure your theme to use widget ‘where ever’.

 * I don’t believe you can ‘invoke’ widgets inside the content area of a [Page](http://codex.wordpress.org/Pages).

 * I have developed a plugin which defines a new ‘widgets area’ which can be included
   inside posts and pages through the use of a shortcode.
    See [Widgets on Pages](http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/widgets-on-pages/)
   plugin. Note I have just committed v 0.0.2 which is simpler to use. Please let
   me know if this is helpful
