# Adding youtube video

 * For some apparent reason, Im having trouble embeding videos to my site. I dont
   know what i’m doing wrong? I want the video to show up on the site, but its not
   working.

 * Also make sure that you have added required MIME Types on hosting control panel
   to work the Video File.

 * What version of WordPress are you using?
 * Did you drop the embed code into the HTML editing mode?
 * Can you provide a link to the post with the broken video?

 * Im using WordPress MU. But, I was told I dont need a plug-in for playing videos.

 * MU has some settings that disallow embedding code for security reasons
 * You have to edit the kses.php file
 * Open the kses.php file in your wp-includes folder.
 * Find this line of code
 * add_filter(’content_save_pre’, ‘wp_filter_post_kses’);
 * just add // in front
 * //add_filter(’content_save_pre’, ‘wp_filter_post_kses’);
