 * I use the ‘Additional CSS’ space for customizing the CSS of my site. Lately,
   if I make any changes in the CSS here, it does not reflect on the site.
   E.g.
   I have the following css to change the colour of the home icon to red..cm-layout-
   2 .cm-primary-nav .cm-home-icon svg{fill:#cc0000}But it does not change the home
   icon color on my site, when in the past it used to. Why is the additional CSS
   not being read any more?
 * The page I need help with: _[[log in](https://login.wordpress.org/?redirect_to=https%3A%2F%2Fwordpress.org%2Fsupport%2Ftopic%2Fadditional-css-not-working-8%2F%3Foutput_format%3Dmd&locale=en_US)
   to see the link]_

 * Hi [theteenagermag](https://wordpress.org/support/users/theteenagermag/),
 * Thanks for reaching us,
 * While checking on our setup, the CSS you have provided for changing the home
   icon color is working fine. For your confirmation, please check the screenshot
   here: [https://prnt.sc/RMs6LTgr2Hi3](https://prnt.sc/RMs6LTgr2Hi3)
 * Could you please try once adding the CSS Code at the top of the additonal CSS
   box and check if it helps you or not!
 * Let me know the updates and I will get back to you accordingly.
 * Regards

 * It does not work. This applies to all my CSS in Additional CSS, not just the
   home icon. None of the changes I make here reflect on the site.

 * Hi [@theteenagermag](https://wordpress.org/support/users/theteenagermag/),
 * Thanks for reaching back,
 * If the CSS added on the additional CSS box is not working on your end, I suspect
   one of the plugins you’re using might be causing the problem, so please try deactivating
   all the plugins one by one and check if the problem resolves.
 * Let me know if this helps you or not and I will get back to you.

 * Hi Barsha,
 * I’ve tried deactivating all my plugins, but the problem still remains.
 * I feel this issue happened after one of the updates to ColorMag.
 * Please see if you can find out what has happened from your side.

 * Hi [@theteenagermag](https://wordpress.org/support/users/theteenagermag/),
 * Thanks for reaching back,
 * Could you please try using the following CSS Code inside the additional CSS box
   once and check if it helps you or not!
 *     ```wp-block-code
       .cm-layout-2 .cm-primary-nav .cm-home-icon svg{
       fill:#cc0000!important;
       }
       ```
 * Let me know the updates after adding the code and I will get back to you.
 * Regards
 * This isn’t working either. Also, the problem is for any CSS entered in the additional
   CSS box, not just for the home icon.
