Additional Hooks / Integrations
-
Hello,
I would very much like to purchase the Enterprise level license for my WordPress business website (as I used to use AcyMailing on Joomla years ago), but there is a particular issue that I need resolved before I can make the leap.
One main barrier is that the WordPress version of AcyMailing does not seem to “play nice” with other WordPress plugins.
There is one plugin in particular which I use on my website called ‘Hide My WordPress’ which changes common WordPress paths to help secure WordPress. The issue here with AcyMailing, is that when ‘double opt-in’ is enabled and a new subscriber is required to confirm their email address – the confirmation email link seems to be hardcoded with the url /wp-admin/admin-ajax.php … here is an example url:
/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php?page=acymailing_front&ctrl=frontusers&task=confirm&id=4&key=LSlDpXoSVlgJs1&action=acymailing_frontrouter&noheader=1
… my ‘Hide My WordPress’ security plugin has altered the /wp-admin/admin-ajax.php url/path to something else to help hide my WordPress Backend.Other plugins seem to work fine with this, but AcyMailing does not detect this and just ends in a 404 error.
Can I get support to help “hook-in” AcyMailing to detect this?
Even if I have to apply a manual code/snippet patch after every update, as I would very much like to switch to AcyMailing. Also, I was wondering if you have a public roadmap?
Do you plan on providing better integration with Elementor Pro? Particularly their Form Widget?
At the moment, I’m in the process of styling the AcyMailing forms with custom CSS and JavaScript. It would be much easier to use an Elementor Pro Form Widget.Looking forward to your response.
Kind Regards,
Paul M
