 * Hello,
    I added a border to my site today, using your plug-in’s options. When
   I tried to go back to edit it, I could not manage to find the place where one
   does that again – I went through every single option on the customizer menu,
   and still can’t locate it. Can you tell me where I would find it? Thanks

 * Ok, now I see from the screenshots of this plugin that the section controlling
   borders should be found under the “general” heading, and I do think that’s where
   I found them when I was adding them. However, when I now go to this part of the
   customizer, there is no longer any options for editing borders, or anything to
   do with borders. I just double checked. They seem to have vanished. Any ideas?

 * Hello Lex,
 * I’m afraid the border options are not available if you have header media.
 * This is because the header media would then obscure the border you have set.
 * Sorry if that’s not the answer you want but it’s caused by design of the theme.

 * I think that you might be misunderstanding my problem. It’s not that I cannot
   get a border to show on my website. I **have **a border – a big, bright orange
   border from when I was using the borders option with the customizer to see how
   one would look for my site. My problem is that when I try to go back to **EDIT**
   this big, bright orange border to be another color, the border options section(
   in the “general” tab of the customizer) where I had originally set the border
   is MIA. There are no longer any options about borders showing anywhere in the
   customizer, so I cannot edit what I had previously set. I verified that I’m searching
   in the correct place by looking at the screenshots that you have here of your
   plugin options. The screenshot clearly shows the border options under the general
   tab of the customizer, and that is where I remember them being before they vanished.

 * Hello Lex,
 * Interesting. The border shouldn’t show at all if the settings aren’t able to
   be shown. I’ll investigate that.
 * In the meantime, can you please confirm if you have set header media items (image,
   video, etc). If so please temporarily remove them to see if the controls reappear(
   you may need to refresh the customizer after removing the header media items).
 * Do you have the web site address of the site so that we can see it?

 * I had already disabled header media on the site. I’ve tried to restart the customizer
   several times to see if that would make a difference. Toggled the header media
   on, then off to see if that would help. The border editing section just will
   not reappear. Is there anywhere I could send you screenshots of how the customizer
   looks? My site isn’t ready to post publicly yet, so I could also send a screenshot
   of that, too, if possible.

 * The page border settings will not be able to be seen if you have anything set
   in the Header Media or if you have a slider set in “Customizer – Header Options–
   Slider Cover”.
 * We have checked and not only will these options prevent the border settings from
   being displayed but also the options will not have any effect on the site.
 * Without looking at your site’s HTML and CSS it will be impossible to tell you
   why you are having these issues but could you please turn off any additional
   plugins you have to confirm that the issue is being caused by “Options for Twenty
   Seventeen”.
 * Please also let us know if you have any CSS in “Customizer – Additional CSS”.
 * Thank you,
 * Oliver
