# Admin Account Missing

 * I just upgraded to version 2.5 and have one serious problem; my admin account
   is no longer an admin account.
 * First a little background information:
 * When I first installed wordpress a few years ago I added a new account and gave
   it full admin privledges and then removed the default admin account. This has
   worked OK for a few years. Now, however, when I did the 2.5 upgrade I couldn’t
   login at first (due to the fact I was using the OpenID authentication plugin)
   however, I had wordpress send me a new password and I logged in OK.
 * However, now that I am logged in I can’t really manage the blog. My admin rights
   don’t seem to exist anymore. What do I need to do (via mySQL changes most likely)
   to give my account it’s admin privledges back?
 * All of my plugins are disabled at the moment so my site is totally open to ridiculous
   spam (which started to come in instantly.
 * Please help!
