Title: Admin-bar issue Last modified: August 20, 2016 --- # Admin-bar issue * [David](https://wordpress.org/support/users/digitalone/) * (@digitalone) * [14 years, 11 months ago](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/admin-bar-issue/) * I have a small problem with the Admin Bar in that, although the css link shows up in the head of each page the bar does not. all the links show up but in an unformatted list at the bottom left of the page. Anyone have any suggestions, other than total removal, on what to do or what may be missing to make it do that. * Thanks in advance. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s). * – switching to the Twenty Ten theme to rule out any theme-specific problems. * – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. DO NOT delete the wp-content folder. * Download a fresh copy of wp and upload the wp-admin and wp-includes folders to your host. The Admin Bar is not showing up when viewing any of the public pages on my site. This includes switching themes. The admin bar is displayed when a user is logged in and visiting the site. Trying to fix the Admin Bar with the suggestions that had been posted earlier caused almost everything on my site to break. I’ve been wanting to ditch the theme I was using anyway, so decided to take this opportunity to rebuild the site from the ground up. And doing so has fixed the Admin Bar for now. * Thanks anyway.
