 * I have some suggestions for the Admin CSS.
    - Cleaner look
    - Sans-serif fonts
    - Less of those outlines all over the place
 * I’ve made some changes to the current CSS, and put the page up [here](http://denial.loose-screws.com/stuff/WordPressAdmin/post.html).
   Thoughts and comments please?
    And I do realise that a lot of thought went into
   the current CSS/design. Just making suggestions.

 * I like it just the way it is. I do like Sans-serif fonts better however. If it’s
   possible to have an option somewhere to choose between the two, that’s be nice.
   However, since people rarely see the ACP, it’s not that big of a deal for me.
   🙂

 * you are welcome to make whatever stylesheets you like and make them available
   to everyone. that is the beauty of open source. if there is something you don’t
   like you can go ahead and change it yourself without having to pester the developers.

   if people like your changes better than the default they will use it, if people
   prefer the default they can stick with that, if they want balloons and pink bunnies
   they can make their own stylesheet, and everyone will be happy.

 * seraph –
    I like the look – have you made your css available? Does it require
   modifications elsewhere (WP newbie question)?

 * What would be really good would be if Kubrick users had a matching interface
   for the admin pages, it feels wrong switching from a sleek modern look to a very
   basic one every time you want to make a post!

 * On a mac at least, the Georgia is not easy to read when writing a new piece,
   and the admin menu is a bit clunky with the “display: inline” making everything
   look a little awkward. So…
    I’ve made a stylesheet to address these issues, which
   still uses the blue and grey and still looks like WordPress, just with Lucida
   or Verdana specified and the menu display edited. It works in Safari and Firefox
   on a Mac, uses “float: left’, “display: block” and “font-size: 1em”; seems to
   work OK in IE PC but won’t work in Mac IE. It’s a stylesheet change only, and
   y0u can see a screenshot at “www.jamesbisset.com/pics/wp-admin.gif”. The styleheet
   is at “www.jamesbisset.com/wp-admin.css” Feel free to fiddle and tweak, though
   it may be superceded by WP 1.3?

 * [http://chrisjdavis.org](http://chrisjdavis.org) is a good place to check out
   some serious tweaks to the admin panel.

 * Thanks 🙂
    It’s a lovely site, but I couldn’t find anything to do with re-styling
   the admin css. Do you mean install Persian? I couldn’t find anything else. When
   I first googled for wp-admin.css mods, I could only find complete makeovers.
   At the moment, being a WP newbie, I’m quite happy with the current interface;
   I just wanted to get rid of the Georgia and clean up the top menu. So I did it
   myself. Sorry, I managed to cock up my login last night too, so my post was anonymous.
   And I can use links in here? [screenshot](http://www.jamesbisset.com/pics/wp-admin.gif)
