 * I just upgraded an older version of wordpress to 3.0 and the admin layout is
   wonky. It looks like the layout is fixed and not fluid as it should be. Is there
   a solution?
 * Here is a screen-shot of the admin area…

 * Thanks,
    Brad

 * Can’t seem to find that screenshot but, in the meantime, what version of WordPress
   were you previously running and how, **exactly**, did you upgrade to 3.0?

 * I think it was 2.6.4 but I am not positive. I upgraded manually as instructed
   on the wordpress site.

 * Not sure what’s up with the screenshot… I posted it to another place at the following

 * How wide is that screen? Also, check the settings under Screen options at the
   top of the page.

 * resolution is 1280×1024
 * My other blogs don’t do this and I’m not sure how the screen options tab will
   help, it doesn’t have a fluid vs fixed width option. Or am I missing something?

 * No – you’re not. It was a long shot/wild guess on my part. I blame a cold-addled
   brain. 😉
 * It looks to me like a CSS problem. Can you try re-uploading the wp-admin folder
   from a fresh download of WordPress? Maybe one of your wp-admin CSS files has
   been damaged.
