 * When trying to save levels with field changes it Doesn’t e.g. there are 8 levels
   on this particular site and I want to adjust elements displayed to the member
   for editing their profile it doesn’t write the changes to the form fields. So
   you go to admin > levels > level X > then select the check boxes you need to
   display. I need 20 or so fields to display on the edit profile and all I can
   get is the first 3 – email, first name and surname – These are fields. There
   is no provision for full address, Biography profile etc. I am getting a huge
   amount of flack from those that want to fill in extra data but can’t even see
   the fields as admin is not saving them and when save level is clicked the changes
   to content do not save. HELP!
 * The page I need help with: _[[log in](https://login.wordpress.org/?redirect_to=https%3A%2F%2Fwordpress.org%2Fsupport%2Ftopic%2Fadmin-not-saving-changes-2%2F%3Foutput_format%3Dmd&locale=en_US)

 * Hi owl,
 * I’m not sure if we fully understand what you’re trying to do or the process you’re
   using to get there. The checkboxes at admin > levels > level X represent fields
   that already exist (i.e. you need to create the fields in the “Fields” tab first
   before they will show up as checkboxes for the levels). Have you done this?

 * Yes I have. All I want to do is assign certain fields to certain levels using
   the admin tool. I check all the boxes all the boxes I need. Save changes wait
   a few ticks and go back to edit the level and none of the changes have changed.

 * Hi Owl,
 * Some times this issue occurs when user creates field without slug or slug with
   space between two word. Can you make sure you have slugs for all the custom fields
   you created and also make sure. If you have debug mode is set to “True” please
   set it to “False”. Also, make sure none of your custom field names starts with
   a space.
    If it is not working as well. Can you try to create new level and check
   all fields are selected and try to deselect all the field you don’t want and
   save. Is it keeping the same setting or it is selecting back after saving that
   level.
 * Thank you,
