# Admin only test mode

 * I may be missing it, but is there a way to have the plugin allow for test mode
   for administrators while being live to the general public?
 * In my case, I need to do some email tests that require submitting orders, but
   I don’t want to keep charging and refunding myself. Likewise, I can’t move it
   to test mode for all or I’ll be giving away free products to real customers.

 * Thank you for contacting Payment Plugins. There isn’t an Admin Only mode at the
   moment, although we’ve considered adding this feature. We will likely include
   that in the next release.
 * What we currently recommend is setting the payment methods Charge Type you’re

 * You can then configure the order status option to what you need in order to trigger

 * Since the payment will be authorized, you can cancel it without incurring any
   processing fees from Stripe.
