 * Hi,
 * In the past 24 hours numerous issues have surfaced while using Firefox & WP.
   These problems happen on more than one of our blogs yet have not occurred while
   using IE.
 * -Admin panel will not fully load. Plugins, News, Links, etc. remain loading.
   -
   Will not always take post updates -Cannot modify or even open specific widgets.
   Can click on main widget location but cannot open specific widgets. -One widget
   won’t load on live site & appears as empty box -Other tabs do not function such
   as the “help” tab. When clicked, the help menu does not appear.
 * I think that’s about it. I updated 2.8.4 again & still have the same issues.
   We made no changes other than posting that could cause such issues & as I said,
   this is happening on two separate sites. From what I have been reading, I may
   not be the only one experiencing such problems but I am not clear on that. Any
   help would be appreciated. I have created a tiny url so as not to broadcast the
   actual. Thanks!

 * ps- Since posting, I’ve noticed that the problems are intermittent. The best
   kind of problems 🙂

 * Have you tried:
 * – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works,
   re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
 * – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-related problems?
 * – [resetting the plugins folder](http://codex.wordpress.org/FAQ_Troubleshooting#How_to_deactivate_all_plugins_when_not_able_to_access_the_administrative_menus.3F)
   by FTP or phpMyAdmin? Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause
   problems.

 * Thanks…I have not experienced the problems yet tonight. Maybe it was a plugin&
   the issue worked itself out. We’ll see.
 * If the problem persists, I will start deleting plugins & take it from there.
   Thanks for the link to the support topic. There is a lot of good info there.
   Let’s hope whatever the problem was, it has come & gone. I did notice that during
   the problematic times, the “Add to Any” plugin wasn’t functioning properly. Perhaps
   it was the culprit…

 * ps- spoke too soon..happening again on my other site & it’s not the plugin that
   I thought.

 * These are all clues that the problem was with your web hosting.

 * iridiax,
 * Well, they say not. Can you be more specific on how it could be web hosting related?
   The sites are on different servers. Thanks.

 * If something was broken with your sites, the problems would typically not be
   intermittent. Since you didn’t change anything, the intermittent slowness and
   failed connections/loading are likely symptoms that your web host is having problems…
   Or that both your sites are coincidentally under a temporary heavy traffic load
   at the same time.

 * Oh I see where you’re going. However, the sites load ok, but what’s not loading&
   functioning are the admin panel & some of its features.
 * The problems appear to be wp related &/or Firefox related. Yet I do not know
   why such problems suddenly began occurring. We’ll see what I can find. Perhaps
   I will begin removing plugins…
 * Thanks!
