These problems happen on more than one of our blogs yet have not occurred while using IE. * -Admin panel will not fully load. Plugins, News, Links, etc. remain loading. - Will not always take post updates -Cannot modify or even open specific widgets. Can click on main widget location but cannot open specific widgets. -One widget won’t load on live site & appears as empty box -Other tabs do not function such as the “help” tab. When clicked, the help menu does not appear. * I think that’s about it. I updated 2.8.4 again & still have the same issues. We made no changes other than posting that could cause such issues & as I said, this is happening on two separate sites. From what I have been reading, I may not be the only one experiencing such problems but I am not clear on that. Any help would be appreciated. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s). * – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-related problems? * – [resetting the plugins folder](http://codex.wordpress.org/FAQ_Troubleshooting#How_to_deactivate_all_plugins_when_not_able_to_access_the_administrative_menus.3F) by FTP or phpMyAdmin? Maybe it was a plugin& the issue worked itself out. We’ll see. * If the problem persists, I will start deleting plugins & take it from there. Thanks for the link to the support topic. There is a lot of good info there. Let’s hope whatever the problem was, it has come & gone. I did notice that during the problematic times, the “Add to Any” plugin wasn’t functioning properly. Can you be more specific on how it could be web hosting related? The sites are on different servers. However, the sites load ok, but what’s not loading& functioning are the admin panel & some of its features. * The problems appear to be wp related &/or Firefox related. Yet I do not know why such problems suddenly began occurring. We’ll see what I can find. Perhaps I will begin removing plugins… * Thanks!
