# Admin posts vs Author Posts

   by Reggie Nicolay about “Google Authorship Markup and the Beginning of Visual
   Search Cues.”
 * That sent me to my WP Dashboard to find my Author page only to discover that 
   as an Administrator that it didn’t appear as if I had a “author” page.
 * Am I missing something?

 * I’ve since added another profile for myself, as an author, (no posts to it yet).
   It seems like a hassle to have two logins (one as admin and one as author). Thoughts
   anyone?

 * I initially agreed with you. Unfortunately, my author profile would not display
   next to my posts. I’ve since created another profile as an author only (not admin).
   The post under that login shows my profile with the post and allows for anyone
   to search for other articles by me.
 * I’m just wondering if there is a way for Admin posts to display similarly. It’s
   kludge to have two logins.

 * I’m not sure what that means… If you’re the author of a post, you’re the author.

 * So I think I figured it out.
 * It seem that when you are the only one posting to a blog, you don’t get the Author
   blurb when you click through to a single post.
 * I discovered this by generating a second user profile of myself and posted. Viola!
   My blurb and Gravatar appeared next to each post. I deleted the post and the 
   author info next to the posts vanished.
 * To fix this, I’ve left the alternate user in place and will post simple event
   scheduling updates; nothing critical that needs to be associated with an author.
   That way Twenty-Eleven will read my site as a multi-author blog and display the
   author info next to posts.
 * Thanks for engaging me on this. It pushed me to explore more what was happening.
