admin session expiring when visiting blog

    Our admin sessions expire frequently, sometimes within seconds. I have found that if I log into the admin and then visit our blog, I am logged out of the admin. We use https on the admin, and I think the session may be getting lost when we go to the blog that is using http. Any ideas on how to fix this?
