# AdSense blocking main thread

 * Hi,
    I have AdSense, etc installed on my site via Site Kit but I have a problem
   in page speed insights for almost all my posts.
 * It’s highlighting AdSense code which it says is render-blocking/blocking the 
   main thread but I don’t understand why that is because I thought that AdSense
   code was asynchronous.
 * Would you please explain how this can be fixed?

 * Site Kit only inserts the AdSense code on your site. You would be better served
   asking the question to the [product experts](https://support.google.com/adsense/?hl=en#topic=3373519).
   They’d have better insights on ad performance than we can provider in plugin 
   support.
