Advanced Excerpt with Simple Share

I’m using Simple Share to add share icons after the excerpt on my home page. If I use Advanced Excerpt, those icons don’t appear. I’m guessing because the_excerpt gets replaced by some other custom code, perhaps advanced_excerpt.

Is there a way to get these two plugins working together?
