 * Hello,
 * I’m developing a theme for a news portal and i’ve run into the following problem.
 * When a single post is opened the menu item that is marked as current needs to
   be a static page.
 * What i mean is the following:
 * Lets say i have 3 pages in the menu:
    **Home **|** Local News** | **World News**
 * Now although these pages may look like categories they wont be. I need them to
   be static pages as they may have defferent designs that have to be realized with
   shortcodes.
 * What i need is a way to make the correct menu item marked as current when a post,
   lets say from **Local News**, is opened.
 * Is there a way to accomplish that?
 * I know how to use categories to that effect but the project requires me to use
   static pages instead.
