 * In the past, all my links were created automatically with the Parameter Forwarding
   checkbox on. Recent links do not have it turned on, and I have to manually click
   it.
   Is there a change/setting to have it automatically turned on? Thanks!

 * Hi Julie,
 * Thank you for reaching out. Currently, the Parameter Forwarding option needs
   to be enabled on a per-link basis but if you had some custom code to default
   that “Parameter Forwarding” option to enabled for newly-created links located
   somewhere like your theme’s functions.php then the code might’ve been lost if
   you recently updated your theme.
 * Could you try installing a plugin such as Code Snippets and then place the code
   snippet attached within that plugin? This should allow the code to stick around
   when your theme updates. With the code added, any newly-created links will have
   the Parameter Forwarding option set to enabled: [https://gist.github.com/DumahX/f1b589a850a1f2d2d5d36ff4e97b5f67](https://gist.github.com/DumahX/f1b589a850a1f2d2d5d36ff4e97b5f67)
 * I hope this helps!

 * Thanks Tyler for the quick reply – I am positive this worked automatically in
   the past. I went back to look at my old links, because it stopped working for
   me.
   Are you saying nothing was changed in the Pretty Links side? (So it’s specific
   to me and my installation? I never had any unique code installed.)Is this something
   that’s available in the PRO version? (Yes, I will pay for it!)I really appreciate
   the help!

 * Hi Julie,
 * Thank you for getting back to me. I got with one of our senior developers who’s
   been working with Pretty Links for several years, but they weren’t aware of any
   global option for Parameter Forwarding. The option can currently only be enabled
   on a per-link basis for our Free and Pro versions, but that code snippet I provided
   should default the option to “Enabled” when you create a new link.
 * I hope this helps!
 * Kind regards,
