Advanced stock for variable products

Hi,

I’m building an e-shop, where each product (with a specific print) consists of 2 items – a dress and a pyjama for kids, where both have different sizes and separate stock. I need to be able to control the stock for these.

Variable products does not seem to work here, since the stock would only control that specific combination, while the overall stock of let’s say small kids pyjama for the specific product might be different.

Is there any solution (e.g. per product / per attribute stock) that would solve this scenario?
