After this plugin upgraded, the Google Analytics Dashboard shows no Google Analytics data on the WordPress Admin page any more. Just a flat blue line painting slowly. I reauthorized with Google Analytics (not a new website – there is years of Analytics data) and that didn’t help.

Also you can’t dismiss the message in WordPress Admin: Important: GADWP is now ExactMetrics. No matter how many times you X it out it reappears over and over. There is no Dismiss option.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi there,
Can you double check to see if you have the plugin called Social Warfare active. They recently did a major release that had a ton of bugs in it and it’s known to both hide the close buttons on standard WordPress notices and cause issues with the WordPress ajax system for other plugins

HI – Thanks for your reply. I don’t have Social Warfare plugin. I have: Akismet Anti-Spam, BackWPup, Clean and Simple Contact Form, Enhanced Text Widget, Google Analytics Dashboard for WP (GADWP), Google Doc Embedder, Google Maps Widget, Hello Dolly, ManageWP – Worker, Media Library Categories, MetaSlider, Metro Style Social Widget, Ninja Forms, Social Contact Display, Telnumlinker, Testimonials Widget, TinyMCE Advanced, Title Remover, WP Super Cache, WP-Optimize, Yoast SEO.

I tried clearing browser cache and that didn’t help.

Should I try disabling these plugins one by one?

Hi – By process of elimination the problem is plugin BackWPup. I disabled and your plugin started working again.

    Hi:
I’m having the same problem. I don’t have the Social Warfare either. Any other options for plugin conflict?

For me it ended up being the BackWPup plugin which also very recently updated. I disabled it and this Google Analytics Dashboard plugin started working again.

    Hi there,
BackupWP seems to be having issues of their own at the moment unfortuantely. Looks like they accidentally included their entire vendor folder unintentionally with this new update they did, so their plugin is now 15mb compressed, 50mb uncompressed, and no longer supports PHP 5.2 + 5.3 due to them unintentionally upgrading Guzzle. This mistake has actually made their plugin 2.2x the size of WordPress core with 3.5x the number of files of WordPress, and a number of files are included that they didn’t mean to, almost certainly causing the errors you are experiencing. The dashboard issue is likely your WP install struggling to actually load their plugin following this upgrade.

They’ve said they’ll be issuing an update shortly so that should fix any issues once they do.

Wow – Well that’s some serious quality control issues there! Quite the fubar plugin update. I’m sure they will issue an update sooner rather than later!
